Sipisode 2: Top 5 Favorite Book-to-Screen Adaptations

Episode 2 featured my wonderful friend, Jennifer Higgins. We had a lot of laughs discussing our failed episode we had previously recorded!

We did a countdown of our top 5 favorite book-to-screen adaptations. This included both films and tv shows. Jenn and I made our predictions on how many we would have in common. We said:

Jennifer: 1 Amanda: 1

Jennifer’s list:

5. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2005 novel by Stieg Larsson, 2009 Swedish film adaptation.) 4. The Girl on the Train (2015 novel by Paula Hawkins, 2016 film.) 3. To Kill a Mockingbird (1960 novel by Harper Lee, 1962 film) 2. The Count of Monte Cristo (1844 novel by Alexandre Dumas, 2002 film.) 1. Harry Potter series (1997-2007 novels by J.K. Rowling, films 2001-2011)

Amanda’s list:

5. Gone Girl (2012 novel by Gillian Flynn, 2014 film) 4. The Great Gatsby (1925 novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, 2013 film.) 3. Misery (1987 novel by Stephen King, 1990 film.) 2. Big Little Lies (2014 novel by Liane Moriarty, 2017-2019 HBO limited series.) 1. A Time to Kill (1989 novel by John Grisham, 1996 film.)

We had ZERO in common! Who would have thought? We both had some amazing choices though.
